Travel & Transportation
Airfare is included, as well as all transportation from the Delhi Airport, and back, and to each trip destination during the retreat! We will be traveling within India via bus and train.
An India Visa is required for this grand adventure. You must apply for this at least two week prior to our departure for this event in order to be able to stay the entire duration of the trip. I also recommend purchasing trip insurance on your own to cover this event. Travel insurance can most likely be purchased through your car or rental insurance provider.
-
Stay & Lodging
During your stay with us, we offer either premium double occupancy rooms or dormitories selected with an above rating of 75% to ensure comfort and cleanliness for our guests to enjoy their retreat experience fully!
Every place and location we select is highly studied and screened ahead of time through interviews with local communities and businesses. Not only do we want the best for our participants, we want to provide the best retreat for the community we are visiting as well. This means honoring lodging standards already in place, and treating every community with reverence.
All camping materials for our time in Chandratal will include thermal tents, bedding, blankets and heating supplies.

Diet & Meals
Our retreat includes 2-3 meals per day with snacks included, as well as bottled water throughout the trip.
Our goal is to always source as much food from the local community as possible, and support local farms when available. Our goal is always to create meals that are predominately vegetarian, organic, and nutrient rich. Most of our meals are served hot, cooked well done, and are well seasoned. We create meals that prioritize participant health, while meeting general dietary needs of keeping participants nourished and taking in calories that are in alignment with the caloric output of the daily activities. If you have specific dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know.

Be Open To New Experiences:
We encourage retreat attendees to be open to activities they have never experienced before, trying new foods, or even sleeping with arrangements that are not typically to where you currently live.
We promise if you keep an open mind, you will have an awesome time!
Environmental Awareness:
We are aware that our climate is changing, and that our presence in nature is not overlooked by climate activism. We value conservation. We believe that you can solve climate change without a commitment to conservation. Because nearly all nature parks in the US are directly affected by conservation or environmental injustice, we make sure to bring awareness to those issues at every event we host. Being aware stewards in nature is important. We believe the best way to experience an eco-adventure is by fully understanding the context for our destination plans and how participants can take action toward helping solve climate change in their own communities as well.
Supporting the Indigenous & Local Economy:
We give honor to the land supporting each program within this country and abroad. With thank the water protectors and land keepers for making the space for us to recreate with ease and in peace. Whenever possible, we connect directly with indigenous groups beyond a land acknowledgment. We support local indigenous and BIPOC economy by prioritizing business that are local to the areas where are are programming. Funding this work through giving back is our highest calling, and greatest purpose in this work to connect people back to our planet.
